Lottery Singapore

Singapore Pools offers three different types of lottery games. The first is the TOTO, which requires players to spend $1 and choose 6 numbers from 1 to 49 in order to win cash prizes. The second is the 4D, which costs $1 per seven-digit bet and the third is the Singapore Sweep, which requires players to pay $3 on each ticket.

TOTO

The Toto game is one of the most popular lotteries in Singapore, as it is known to offer big cash prizes. It is available twice a week and has rolling jackpots that can be as high as S$1 million. However, the prize amount will roll down if no jackpot winner is drawn in four consecutive draws.

TOTO is very similar to the US Powerball and Eurojackpot, although the odds are a little less than those of the latter two. The chances of winning are 1 in 13,983,816.

4D

The 4D lottery is another popular game offered by Singapore Pools and it has a minimum entry price of S$1 including GST. The maximum prize is $2,300,000.

Sweep

The Sweep game is another one of Singapore Pools’ lotteries and it has 19 seven-digit numbers that are drawn every month. The minimum prize is $1,000, but the maximum is $2,300,000.

A woman in Singapore was reportedly denied her winning lottery ticket because she asked a friend to place a bet on her behalf. This cautionary tale of sorts was shared on a closed Facebook group on Jan 16. The post claimed that the woman had reached out to Singapore Pools for a resolution, but she was told that the money would be disbursed to the person who bought the ticket.
